Veerle Knoop

Veerle Knoop is a post-doctoral researcher at the Frailty & Resilience in Ageing (FRIA) research unit of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). She trained as a physiotherapist (HAN University of Applied Sciences, 2011) and gerontologist (VUB, 2016), and obtained her PhD in Gerontology at VUB in 2021 with a thesis on muscle fatigability, self-perceived fatigue and the development of frailty in the oldest old.
