Sam Vanhuynegem

Sam is currently working as a teaching assistant in the Gerontology department. He is assisting prof. dr. Ivan Bautmans and prof. dr. Christel Geerts for “Capita Selecta” and “the internships”. 

In addition, Sam started a voluntarily PhD in 2023. His research focuses on the living conditions of older persons and the influence on depression and depressive symptoms. He works under the supervision of prof. dr. Gorus and prof. dr. De Witte. 

Sam succeeded following degrees: a master in gerontology and a bachelor Occupational therapy.
