Ellen Gorus

Ellen Gorus has a Master in Clinical Psychology (2000) and Gerontology (2002) and a PhD in Gerontology (2007). She teaches on psychological aspects of ageing (life course, psychogeriatrics, assessment, …) and empowerment. Her research activities are primarily aimed at (cognitive) frailty, active ageing and mental health of older persons.
